A complaint was recently filed against a national pharmacy chain for a prescription error regarding medication for hypertension.
The pharmacist for the national pharmacy chain admitted that they filled a prescription for a patient with Bisacodyl, a laxative, instead of the prescribed hypertension medication, Bisoprolol.
Errors involving medications for high blood pressure and hypertension are very serious and often fatal. These are very serious medical conditions that require a proper medication regimen.
